I'm not much of a cleaner but I like my home to look neat. Therefore, I rely heavily on my swiffer and swiffer wet-jet. I use both several times a week to maintain very dark hardwood flooring that tends to highlight even the slightest bit of dust. I find sweeping with a traditional broom to be very inefficient, whereas the swiffer is like a dust magnet. I just stick it blindly under my bed and swirl it around and it does a decent job of attracting most of the dust. Granted, that is sort of indicative of my cleaning style. With a swiffer, my house really looks like I'm a lot more meticulous than I actually am. I take it for a spin around the floors every few days and they look great. Once a week or so, I will follow that with some swiffer wet-jet action, but it definitely works better to use the regular swiffer first.
